I prioritize the quality of my work, from image precision to paper and printing excellence. I take pride in offering my posters in an intelligent and environmentally sustainable manner.
All my posters are printed using 225 g/m Fuji Chrystal Archive paper, which is a matte photographic premium paper. They are known for their exceptional image clarity and vibrant color reproduction. This type of prints is called photographic C-prints and are made using RGB lasers and a chemical photographic process, similar to old analogue techniques, resulting in high-quality, true-to-life, representations. These prints characterized by high level of detail, good color reproduction and long archival durability.
The mass the paper is made of and the paper itself are FSC®-certified. This implies that the trees utilized in the production have been cut down in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as adhering to the rigorous criteria for social and environmental sustainability established by the FSC organization. FSC, Forest Stewardship Council, stands for responsible forest management and protects forests for future generations. The paper is produced in the Netherlands by Fujiiflm, and the factory uses 100% green wind energy.
To ensure the highest quality and prompt delivery, all of my artwork is printed at the printing company Crimson AB in Sweden. The printing process is meticulously handled by their skilled professionals. Once your artwork is ready, it will be promptly shipped directly to you within 2-3 working days. Please note that shipping is currently available within Sweden only.
I embrace print-on-demand services for eco-friendly and economical reasons. Utilizing already established professional facilities and services eliminates the need for having facilities and machines of my won, reducing emissions. Products are printed on demand, minimizing large print runs and excess inventory, thus decreasing waste. While maintaining top-quality products, I avoid investing in and disposing of advanced equipment and materials, like printers, contributing to a more sustainable approach by reducing the environmental impact associated with their production and operation.
Crimson AB is dedicated to exceeding environmental regulations, actively pursuing sustainability. They responsibly manage waste, promote a circular economy for inkjet cartridges, and operate a purification plant for water quality. Recycling materials, using certified products, and optimizing transportation efficiency further reflect their commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainability.
All my prints feature a "built-in white passepartout" around the edges, meticulously designed to accentuate the photograph and enhance its depth. This thoughtful addition provides a clean and elegant border that draws attention to the artwork, creating a visually striking presentation. The white area adds a touch of sophistication and further elevates the overall aesthetic appeal of the print.
Underneath each image, in the bottom right corner, the prints display my name, Christopher Hakulinen, as the artist, along with the title of the photograph. This placement provides clear attribution and identification, ensuring proper recognition of my work and enabling viewers to connect the image with its creator and title.
You have the flexibility to order the photographs as prints in three different sizes: small (30.5x40.5 cm / 16x18"), medium (50x70 cm / 19.69" x 27.56" ), and large (70x100 cm / 27.56" x 39.37"). This range of sizes allows you to choose the perfect dimensions that best suit your preferences and the intended display space. Whether you desire a more intimate arrangement or a bold statement piece, these size options cater to a variety of artistic visions and ensure that your chosen photograph will make a captivating visual impact.
